2025 Year in Review

 

The older adults that TSC help appreciate your generous donations and support. You make our important work possible. Your support is a blessing that is helping older adults continue to live in this Community they love.

 

Teller Senior Coalition (TSC) assisted 957 older adults (age 60 or over) so they can live with independence and dignity and stay in their homes.

From January 2025 through December 2025 Teller Senior Coalition:

• Provided 12,521 door-to-door transportation trips, taking 531 seniors and residents to medical appointments, to buy groceries, and other essential purposes. TSC has a fleet of 14 vehicles, 9 of which are wheelchair accessible.

• Provided 1,327 hours of case management, understanding our client’s needs and solutions.

• Provided 63 hours of safety related handyman support, installing grab bars, railings.

• Provided 1,394 hours of homemaker services, keeping homes clean and healthy.

• Delivered 60 Thanksgiving Holiday meals.

• Key Food Pantry in Teller County providing food during suspension of Snap benefits/ government shutdown. Worked with County Officials to provide 1,802 bags of supplemental food, 91 food bags for the local elementary school students, and 9,954 boxes of Home delivered meals for homebound seniors.

• Facilitated $10,477 heating assistance to low-income residents through CO Energy Outreach.

• Facilitated $25,057 rent and mortgage support to low-income struggling residents.

• TSC held Social Activities (Bingo, Coffee and Donuts) and monthly trips to local attractions (averaging 47 participants per month) so seniors could interact with peers and have fun.

For some seniors, we are their family, an advocate ensuring they receive all the support they need.  Many seniors have limited financial resources, making the care we provide so important to their well-being. Our seniors say thank you for caring about their welfare.
